About us

Established in 1961, we manufacture, assemble and repair Purse Seine nets for offshore and coastal fishing. Our 6000 sqm factory has its own deep-water quay with a length of 110 metres and is located just north of Bergen. From here it is a short distance to the North Sea.

AS Fiskenett is the only company in Norway to design, manufacture, maintain and repair commercial fishing nets for both offshore and coastal fishing fleets.

During our manufacturing process, our specialized treatment facilities provide excellent UV protection, abrasion resistance, stability in mesh size and reduced shrinkage.

Our collaborative approach, manufacturing expertise and continued investments in new technology ensures our customers benefit from both increased efficiency and profitability in their fishing operations. AS Fiskenett is 100% owned by Egersund Group Fiskeri AS, which is 100% owned by Egersund Group AS. Egersund Group AS also owns 51% of Akva Group ASA
